《圓覺經》中：「不二隨順，於不二境，現諸淨土。」
其中，「不二」是源自於中國，為：「兩個但非兩個」之意。在某個層面上，人們和周遭環境是獨立和單獨的實體。但，從根本的現實面、或諸法實相的角度來看，意義盡是相同。

美，是跟著時間運行的，沒有既定的標準，只要時間、空間等融洽結合，就能體現理性與感性。
設計，從延伸感、時間性、細節美等三大重點著手，反映了現代居家的多變樣貌，藉著四季時序的滲透與生活型態的轉變，讓居住者更能敏覺日常裡的美好瞬間。

感性知覺
美國女詩人艾蜜莉．狄瑾蓀（Emily Dickinson, 1830~1886）曾經對友人表示：「生活經驗的本身，就是一種狂喜。」在她優美的詩句裡：I dwell in Possibility，A fairer House than Prose …(我居住在可能裏，一座比散文優美的屋宇…)

從這些長傳的經典轉載中，不難體現；「居住空間，即是承載生活的容器。」二者看似獨立且單獨，卻又有著密不可分，且具有相同意義。
空間裡，化繁入減的線面與陳設，透過溫潤質地的實木材料，搭配大片落地窗的設計，將綠意從外延伸至室內，疏落著和諧、沉穆的氛圍背景，一方面勾摹視覺張力，一方面韞懷空間獨特性，替室內渲染出濃轉淡之漸層光影，更衍生大尺度下所生的清曠層理。

No.17 Different but not Divided
Beauty evolves with time and there’s no one standard. With the perfect integration of time and space, sense and sensibility can be achieved.
Designing concerns three important features—extension, time and detail. It reflects the multi-faceted nature of modern housing, highlights the change of season and transformation of lifestyle and helps the residents capture the beauty of everyday living. Simplified surface and furnishing, along with solid wood that gives off soothing warmth, creates a virtual tension and spacial uniqueness that washes the interior with gradient shades of light from strong to weak, giving shape to a large bedding plane.
Regarding the color of lake water, blocks are cut out proportionally according to their functions to add some virtual fun and organic characteristics. By resorting to the style of subtraction designing, as always, down-to-earth material texture brings out the exquisiteness of variant layers and shades, and reveals a carefree atmosphere and meticulous emotion. Here, the rational personality of the owner is transformed into the main tone of the space, calm and relaxed.
